Creating evidence-based health and wellness programmes for your customers and employees

Case Study - PepTalk Making team engagement sticky

Peptalk is a unique team engagement platform that enables teams to perform at their best. They provide teams with monthly data, insights and actions, available at a touch of a button, specifically aimed at enhanced teamwork and increased engagement. Whether you work onsite, work from home or are a hybrid of both, connecting with others is essential. You need other people to bring out the best version of yourself.

The aim:
Peptalk reached out to me as they were looking for a way to help support the teams on their app who would be engaging in their new “Paths” micro challenge feature.

The work:

  • Initially we ran a behavioural audit of Peptalk's program to examine the gaps and opportunities to embed behavioural science not just for uptake of Paths but importantly to maintain the vital skills gained from using Peptalk.
  • This gave us some invaluable insights on the behavioural opportunities to support users and teams to engage with micro challenges in order to get the most out of them.
  • Not many teams have a behaviour change specialist on call and I strongly believe in supporting teams with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to make decisions based on the work we’ve done together. Therefore to support the Peptalk team in implementing behavioural science into their platform I created a behavioural framework for them to guide future design decisions.

This framework allows us to embed what we create in Peptalk in evidence-based theory. Thus, avoiding reinventing the wheel and providing us with the best opportunity to support users and teams to create lasting changes.
This framework supports us to create a program that optimises intrinsic motivation (through fulfilling users basic needs and using evidence-based behaviour change techniques) thus enhancing participant uptake, adherence, and maintenance of the habits they form within Paths and the wider Peptalk program.
Most importantly, helping users create lasting changes to their habits in order to enable them to bring their best selves to work, everyday.

It's so fun to work with such an exciting and forward-thinking team as Peptalk.
