Dr Heather McKee x PUSH Mind and Body x Havas
Success in habit change is determined by the journey rather than the destination. It’s about what you do each day to work towards your goal. By setting too high a goal or trying to do too much at once you are essentially setting yourself up for failure. Setting smaller goals or microchanges works in the opposite way. Each time you accomplish your microchange you get a sense of satisfaction from the process and this spurs on your motivation to stick with your goals. Ultimately, small changes, repeated consistently enough, will in time lead to the big results you desire.
In association with PUSH MindandBody I spoke at the gorgeous Havas offices in Kings Cross (best view ever!). In our workshop we talked about:
- How making small changes over time can have a huge impact on long term success.
- How joy not punishment is the secret sauce to healthy habit change
As a result, Havas employees kickstarted their healthy habit journey by creating their own habit success blueprint.
